Apple Festival is back at UBC Botanical Garden! The 35th annual Apple Festival is a family-friendly event that celebrates all things Apple.
The festival features over 50 varieties of locally grown apples for sale, all harvested right here in British Columbia. You can even take them home with you! The event sells both bags of apples and apple trees to start your very own at-home apple orchard.
At the festival you can also enjoy 30+ local food vendors, attractions around the garden, apple displays, a children’s activity area, a variety of performances, and a new feature this year on the Pomme de Terre (aka the potato). Our tasting tent is making a return as well and tickets are selling out fast! If you’ve already secured yours, get ready to taste unique apple varieties, some varieties are so rare that you can’t find them anywhere else. For everyone else, hurry and get your tickets before it’s too late!
Organized by the Friends of the Garden, Apple Festival is a fundraising, non-profit event that directly supports education, research, and conservation at UBC Botanical Garden.
From now through September 30th, Apple Festival tickets have early bird pricing for just $12! After that they’ll be at regular price of $15 for everyone aged 8-64 and if you decide day of… they’ll be $18 at the door! Get your tickets early so you can save that money for the apple pie inside the festival.
