Calling all book lovers! Whether you’re an avid reader, a collector, or someone who just loves a good deal, the Vancouver Public Library is hosting a huge book sale.
An estimated 50,000 books are up for grabs at this event. This includes some real page-turners for a fraction of their original price. Excitingly, books start at just $2! Your reading list is about to get a whole lot bigger after this sale.
Hosted by Friends of the Vancouver Public Library, this volunteer community has been hosting their annual Used Book Sale for years now. It’s the perfect opportunity for readers to get their hands on some excellent titles at affordable prices. The proceeds from the event goes toward supporting library projects in collaboration with Friends of the Vancouver Public Library.
No matter what genre you’re looking for, you’ll definitely be able to find something at this sale. And if you need to clear out your own shelves before adding some additions to it, you can take part in the Friends of the Vancouver Public Library’s Book Drive, which is happening until August 29, 2025.
Do note that sales are final, and that attendees are encouraged to bring bags to carry their books home.
