IT Analyst

CSIS is hiring for a number of IT Analyst jobs right now. But since these are IT positions, they do require you to have at least graduated from a two-year post-secondary program in computer science, information technology, engineering, network security, cyber security, data analysis, business analytics, data science, or another relevant specialty.
Relevant experience is required, as well. This goes especially for those of you who have a technologist diploma or a professional technologist equivalency designation. You will require at least two years of relevant experience. Those holding an undergraduate degree only need one year of relevant experience. Higher level education– a Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate– in a related field of study can be recognized as experience, too.

Senior Interviewer
CSIS is looking for individuals who are able to conduct complex security interviews by reviewing and analyzing all pertinent documents. This also includes identifying potential security risks to CSIS from candidates/employees/contractors and provide advice. Applicants are asked to hold an undergraduate degree and three years experience, or a college diploma and five years experience. Those with high school diplomas can also apply, but they must have at least 7 years experience.
Required experience includes having had conducted complex and detailed interviews for assessment purposes, as well as producing detailed reports.
This is an experienced-level position located in Burnaby that pays from $99,392 to $120,917. The application closing date is January 16, 2026.

Foreign Language Communication Analysts

Foreign Language Communication Analysts are responsible for reading and listening to foreign language material. They then determine its relevance and importance, and produce translations and draft reports based on the intelligence value in the material. This helps generate leads for investigations.
Applicants are required to hold an undergraduate degree from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada. Additionally, they must have at least two years of experience in research and analysis and report writing. Do note that any higher level of education could be recognized as experience.
