For the second time in one month, the same brand of popular chicken burgers are under recall throughout Canada. The notice asks consumers to “not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.”

Chicken Burgers Recall in Canada
At the beginning of August, Compliments brand Smashed 100% Chicken Burgers were recalled in Canada due to the products containing undeclared egg. Within that same month, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has recalled the product again for the same reason.
The recalls are both designated as a Class II, which means “there is a moderate risk that consuming the food may lead to short-term or non-life threatening health problems.” Notably, neither notices mention if there were any incidents associated with the consumption of the product.
