One of the most popular events in Vancouver, The Honda Celebration of Light draws up to 400,000 spectators along English Bay each evening.

This year, the epic fireworks display takes place throughout the day and in the evenings on July 28, August 1 and August 4 this year.

2018 represents the 28th consecutive year of the popular event, and organizers are expecting it to be bigger than ever.

For the first time ever, all three participating countries will be required to incorporate the same theme into their fireworks display and musical accompaniment.

As voted by the public, this year’s theme will be Love.

The festival is encouraging people to walk, cycle, or take transit to the event. There will be a multitude of road closures in effect during this time.
