Beverly Hills, 90210 is currently filming a six-episode revival series in North Vancouver! The sixth iteration in the franchise is said to be a mockumentary style fiction which follows the stars as they try to get the show re-launched. BH90210 started filming in town at the end of May and is scheduled to conclude by the end of July. It’s premiere date on Fox is slated for August 7.
One of its original cast members, 45-year-old Brian Austin Green is really enjoying his time in town! Known for playing David Silver in the series and being married to Megan Fox in real life, Green has taken to capturing his summer in Vancouver on Instagram.
Green started documenting his trip to Vancouver for filming of BH90210 just after takeoff from Los Angeles:
The star has given 90210 fans a glimpse of the production set. Talk about nostalgia:
He has also gone exploring along Vancouver’s iconic seawall with friend and co-star Ian Ziering:
“Ian and I had the day off today so he biked and I rode a skateboard in Vancouver at the sea wall. Good times, and great exercise :))“
Green is no stranger to Vancouver as he appeared in a few episodes in Smallville which filmed here. He played John Corben / Metallo for 3 episodes between 2009-2010 in the Vancouver-filmed series.
Luke Perry is the only main original cast member not returning for the series as he passed away earlier this year. In addition to being known for his iconic role of Dylan McKay on 90210 he played Fred Andrews, father of Archie Andrews, in the hit Vancouver-show Riverdale up until the time of his death.
