The BC SPCA is asking for the public’s help to find the owner who abandoned a mother dog and her puppies at a garbage dump.
According to the BC SPCA, a good Samaritan found the mother dog and her puppies, who has been named Casey by staff.

She was found inside a sealed box with her nine puppies at the Puntzi Lake Landfill. This garbage dump is located in the Central Interior.
“There is no excuse for simply walking away from a pet and leaving them to die,” says Lorie Chortyk, the SPCA’s general manager of communications.
“Abandoning animals is against the law and individuals can be prosecuted for their crime”.
A timid, but sweet dog, Casey is believed to be a border collie, husky mix.
