Running until Sunday February 22, 2015, this year’s BC Home and Garden Show is bigger than last. Located at BC Place, there are over 425 exhibitors. Guests are able to receive tips to update, or upgrade, their homes and/or gardens.
The main stage, located in the lower level of the venue, features HGTV’s own Bryan Baeumler, W Network’s Todd Talbot and design duo Janette Ewen and Jef Hancock.
If you aren’t looking for tips, you are able to buy many different handmade items such as jewelry, paintings, decor and chocolate. However, if you are looking for something to add flavour to your home or garden you can purchase anything from cleaning supplies, storage solutions, beddings and beds or a hot tub, along with much more.
More interested in food and beverages? Guests are able to taste samples from the delicious food the vendors cook up. You can even sit in the audience and get cooking lessons with samples at the end.
If you are 19+ there are many beer samples on the upper level, as well as a lounge on the lower level, beside the culinary stage.
There is plenty to see with vendors filling the lower level, as well as the walk way on the top level around BC place, with their booths.
If you haven’t already, you can buy your tickets online for $12 or at the venue for $15. This is an event that is worth checking out, even if it’s just for a chance to win a draw.
