Japanese cheesecake has been all the rage around Vancouver over the last several months. And the relatively new Bake49 shop in Yaletown has unveiled an all new offering.
They’re known for their Japanese-style desserts (cheese tarts, anyone?). Now they have a Double Fromage Chocolate Cheesecake.
Like a traditional Japanese-style cheesecake, it is a super light version of the classic dessert that is less sweet. It also achieves a fluffier texture, due to whipping the egg whites and yolks separately.

And this new menu item combines the best of both worlds—chocolate and cheesecake. But act quick, while it’s available now—they will only have 10 up for grabs each day.
Make sure to get there early if you want to try the decadent treat.
