Surrey Man Identified As Attacker in Brutal, Cowardly Assault Of Autistic Victim

An 29 year old autistic man was waiting at a bus terminal in Mississauga, Ontario when three men brutally attacked him.

The incident occurred on Tuesday March 13, 2018 at approximately 10:45 p.m; the Peel Regional Police arrived at the scene shortly thereafter, and everything was caught on video.

The man was putting on rollerblades while sitting on stairs when the three suspects surprised him from behind. They began to brutally kick and punch him before fleeing the scene.

Just before they attack him the man appears to be moving his things out of the way to let them pass.

Surrey Man Identified in Attack of Autistic Victim

The man suffered a broken nose as well as bruising, and doctors believe that he’ll likely need surgery.

As a result of overwhelming tips from the community, investigators have identified one of the suspects as, Ronjot Singh Dhami, a 25 year-old male of no fixed address.  His last known address is in Surrey, British Columbia.

A Canada-wide arrest warrant for Dhami has been issued on one count of aggravated assault.

The suspects were described as:

Suspect #1: South Asian Male, light complexion, 5’10”, thin build, dark short beard, straight black hair above the ears. He is wearing a black T-shirt with a red Air Jordan logo and white Jordon lettering, with black track pants and black shoes.

Suspect #2: South Asian Male, light complexion, 5’10”, thin build, clean shaven. He is wearing a black jacket with a grey horizontal stripe across the chest and a grey vertical stripe along the hood, black track pants and black shoes.

Suspect #3: South Asian Male, medium complexion, 5’10”, medium build, unshaven. He is wearing a black hoodie with a Nike logo on the front and white Nike lettering along the sleeves, black track pants and black shoes.

Anyone who sees Dhami or the other suspects is asked to call police immediately, and do not approach as they are extremely dangerous.
