May 3rd | 2017 Spring Art Show at Clearbrook Library
The Fraser Valley Watermedia Society is having their Annual Spring 2017 Art Show from Wednesday, May 3, 2017 until Sunday, May 14, 2017 at the Clearbrook Library. The show will be open to the public during library hours with the opening of the Show at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2017.
May 6th | Diljit Dosanjh: Dream Tour
Diljit Dosanjh is a Punjabi & Hindi film actor, singer and television presenter. He is recognized as one of the leading artists in the Punjabi music and film industry. He comes to the Abbotsford Centre on Saturday, May 6th, 2017. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $35 – $150.

May 6th | Tri-Cities Rain Barrel Sale
On Saturday, May 6th, 2017 Coquitlam hosts its Tri-Cities Rain Barrel Sale. They will be sold for on site for $55 including tax. The sale is taking place at the Austin Works Yard from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
May 6th | Mother’s Day Heritage Gift Making
Don’t know what to get your mother for Mother’s Day? Kids can work alongside volunteers in the dining room to make lovely heritage crafts at Mackin House Museum in Coquitlam. The event takes place from 12:30 – 3:00 p.m. and admission is by donation.
May 7th | Abbotsford Tulip Festival 2017
One of the Fraser Valley’s biggest festivals is closing for the season on Sunday, May 14th, 2017. The 10-acres of rainbow-coloured tulip fields present a magical picture. It is open 9:00 a.m. to dusk everyday.
May 10th | BeYOUtiful Bridal Wedding Show
The BeYOUtiful Bridal Wedding Show features local vendors to help plan your wedding or special event. The event takes place at the Sandman Hotel on Simon Avenue from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
May 18th | International Museum Day
Celebrate International Museum Day with discussions with local speakers on the history of Abbotsford. It all takes place from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Trethewey House & MSA Museum in Abbotsford.

May 27th | Art After Dark: A Night of the Arts for Teens
On Saturday, May 27th, 2017 Place des Arts’ Youth Arts Council invites teens ages 13 to 17 to a free night of the arts. Workshops led by professional teachers will be offered together with performances. The event takes place from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
June 3rd | 5K Foam Fest 2017
5k Foam Fest has 22 of some of the best and most exciting obstacles in the world including the world’s largest inflatable waterslide, slip and slides, and mucky mud pits. This year’s event in Abbotsford will be held at Clearbrook Park. Tickets are selling for $67.
June 11th | Flea Market
With 200 indoor tables as well as outdoor sellers, there is definitely something for everyone to discover. Located in Abbotsford, the market runs from 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Exhibition Park.
June 11th | Fraser Valley Symphony
Award-winning Mission pianist Paul Williamson returns to the FVS stage to perform Beethoven’s poetic fourth piano concerto. You can watch the performance on Sunday, June 11th, 2017 at the Matsqui Centennial Auditorium in Abbotsford. It runs from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
