Vancouver International Airport unveiled its YVR Airport app for high functionality and convenience while traveling.
Features include flights status notifications, 3D terminal maps, coupons and even games. The “digital tool will help passengers move more efficiently throughout the airport” whether they need to find the closest bathroom, their boarding gate or a cup of coffee.
Future releases for the Pacific Gateway’s app are expected to include new games, GPS mapping and personalization features. A local gaming company created the app for the Airport Authority instead of a traditional app developer. It’s available for download in the App Store & Google Play.
