Vancouver’s live music calendar continues to heat up this spring. One of hip-hop’s most recognizable voices is set to take the stage at a brand-new concert venue in the city.
BIA will perform live at The Key Vancouver on May 9, giving local fans a chance to see the chart-topping artist in an intimate 1,000-capacity setting.
Located at 750 Pacific Boulevard, steps from BC Place and Rogers Arena, The Key Vancouver is quickly establishing itself as one of the city’s newest destinations for live music and touring acts.
A rising force in hip-hop
Born Bianca Landrau, BIA has built a reputation for her confident delivery, polished production, and crossover appeal. Over the past several years, she has emerged as one of the most exciting female voices in contemporary hip-hop.
Her breakout single “Whole Lotta Money” became a viral hit and charted globally, later receiving a remix featuring Nicki Minaj. Since then, BIA has collaborated with major artists including J. Cole and Ariana Grande, while continuing to release music that blends rap, pop, and Latin influences.
Known for high-energy performances and a commanding stage presence, her live shows often combine club-ready tracks with fan favourites that have racked up hundreds of millions of streams.
A new stage for touring artists
The show will take place at The Key Vancouver, a newly launched performance venue designed to host a wide range of touring acts across hip-hop, electronic music, and beyond.
With its 1,000-person capacity, immersive LED production, and artist-focused stage design, the venue offers fans a closer connection to performers compared with traditional arena concerts. The venue has already begun announcing a lineup of international artists as part of its inaugural season.
