Ciclo Café and Cocktail Bar Is Bringing Espresso Mornings and Cocktail Nights to Coal Harbour

Ciclo Cafe

Vancouver’s newest all-day café and cocktail bar is about to become your next go-to and it’s got serious European charm. Opening September 3rd in Coal Harbour’s MNP Tower, Ciclo Cafe & Cocktail Bar is the newest evolution of the Ciclo brand, and it’s doing more than just lattes. This flagship location introduces a full cocktail program, custom design flourishes, and even a handcrafted gelato collab that’s turning heads.

Whether you’re after a quiet morning espresso or a post-work Negroni, Ciclo’s seamless day-to-night vibe brings something totally fresh to the neighbourhood, all with that warm, lived-in energy Per Se Hospitality Group is known for.

From Seville to Vancouver, With Love

Ciclo’s story begins in Seville, Spain, where Per Se Hospitality Group founder Fabrizio “Fab” Foz fell in love with a 17th-century tavern. That feeling, timeless, soulful, filled with rhythm, is what he’s recreated in this stunning Coal Harbour space.

Located at Cordova Street at 1020 W Cordova (mere footsteps away from Social Corner Coal Harbour), Ciclo balances old-world European design with modern West Coast flavour. Think mosaic floors, custom chandeliers and sconces, and warm lighting that makes you want to stay just a little longer.

The space is both refined and casual, with a small lobby lounge that spills into the tower’s main concourse. Whether you’re catching up with a friend or taking a solo coffee break, Ciclo was built to feel easy.

Morning Rituals, Reimagined

Start your day at Ciclo with an expertly pulled espresso, a buttery pastry, or one of their signature Panino Porta, made with 72-hour fermented dough, imported stracciatella, and premium Italian and Spanish cured meats. It’s light, crispy, and satisfying without being over-the-top.

Coffee lovers will appreciate the in-house bean roasting, a first for the brand, and the small-but-focused espresso menu. No syrup-loaded gimmicks here — just smooth crema, balanced acidity, and friendly baristas who actually remember your name.

Evenings Done Right

While Ciclo still honours its café roots, what makes this new flagship pop is the full cocktail program, a first for the brand.

Expect house takes on classics like:

  • Ciclo Espresso Martini: crafted with house-roasted beans for a deep, velvety flavour

  • Spanish Negroni with sherry vermouth

  • Sparkling spritzes and vermouth-forward cocktails, perfect for patio season

It’s casual, but still elevated, perfect for post-work hangs, pre-dinner drinks, or a stylish spot to wind down after an evening stroll along the seawall.

Designed for Flow

True to its name (Ciclo means “cycle” in Italian and Spanish), the space is designed to transition with you throughout the day.

From a bright and energizing AM flow to a more moody, lounge-like PM vibe, the interiors shift naturally with the light. There’s no pressure to order more or dress up, you can stay as long as you like, and no one’s rushing you out the door.

Even the seating was designed with comfort in mind: soft leathers, rounded corners, warm walnut finishes. It’s the kind of place where you can do an hour of laptop work… or lose three hours catching up with someone you haven’t seen since pre-pandemic.
