Get ready for the fifth annual stɑl’əw̓ Pow Wow, returning to Langley this September.
This vibrant celebration of Indigenous culture is one of the largest events of its kind in Metro Vancouver. The event offers a chance to learn more about Indigenous ways of being and how knowledge is shared from one generation to the next.

The stɑl’əw̓ Pow Wow is more than an event; it’s a gathering meant to unite people in celebration. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy live performances, pow-wow drum beats, and authentic Indigenous cuisine.
This year’s event runs from September 11-13 at the Langley Events Centre.

The event will feature dance and drum competitions, with participants and vendors from across the country. It’s going to be three days of celebration and community, offering a space where everyone is welcome.

Phyllis Atkins, Manager of the stɑl’əw̓ Arts & Cultural Society, emphasizes the event’s mission: “Since inception, the stɑl’əw̓ Pow Wow was intended to bring people together in a good way, with open hearts and minds. We wanted this to be a safe and inclusive event where everyone could witness the beauty and strength of our Indigenous culture.”
The event is organized by the stɑl’əw̓ Arts & Cultural Society in partnership with the Township of Langley.
