Vancouver, get ready. NIPAW 2025 is set for May 2–3, 2025 at the UBC Point Grey Campus, located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) People. This is the nation’s largest conference dedicated to Physical Activity & Wellness for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples — and it is open to everyone who is passionate about sports, recreation, fitness, and traditional activities.
Now in its 12th year, the National Indigenous Physical Activity & Wellness (NIPAW) Hybrid Conference brings together a wide range of voices to celebrate and spotlight the power of Indigenous knowledge in shaping health and wellness practices across communities.
Expect inspiring conversations, community connection, and vibrant sessions that explore how traditional practices, physical activity, and cultural teachings can drive real change in education, health, and community wellness. This year’s hybrid format means you can join both in-person or virtually, making it even more accessible for all.
