It’s not like Vancouver doesn’t see a lot of precipitation already, but a burst water main outside the Vancouver Art Gallery just added to the seasonal showers.
On Monday night, a water main burst near Georgia and Hornby Street at around 6:00 p.m.

When Popham first heard the water, she thought it was a “sudden heavy rain”.

On Tuesday morning, the City of Vancouver provided an update and said that the water main break outside the Vancouver Art Gallery has been repaired.
UPDATE: the water main break at W. Georgia and Hornby is repaired after crews worked all night. NOTE: two lanes eastbound between Hornby and Howe will be closed till mid-morning for pavement repair. Please plan alternate route. #Vantraffic @NEWS1130Traffic @AM730Traffic

However, drivers should be aware that two lanes eastbound between Hornby and Howe Street will be closed till mid-morning for pavement repair.
