For a true Canadian adventure, you can go on a once-in-a-lifetime experience that includes a helicopter ride, glacier kayaking and a cave exploration tour through Compass Heli Tours.

Like you could imagine, it’s quite costly but something everyone should experience once. For $5,000, five people can go on this excursion where you take a scenic helicopter ride through the Cascade Mountains. From there you go kayaking (or paddle boarding) through glaciers for a few hours, have lunch and further explore the area.

Go snowshoeing at this hidden gem near Whistler. Parkhurst ghost town is a historical site with the remnants of what was once a booming 1930’s logging community.

Today, it’s a cool spot to put on some snowshoes and go exploring on the 5K round trip hiking trails with minimal elevation gain.

Stay in an adorable cabin surrounded by nature. Nothing quite says Winter getaway like a cozy little cabin in the woods.

It’s located in Brackendale, making it the perfect spot to unwind if you’re around the Squamish Valley or enroute to Whistler.

Head over to this magical place near Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island. It’s magical all year round but around Winter is the best time to go.

With the snow-covered trees and the cozy spheres—it’s an experience you will never forget.

The quaint town of Rossland is the ultimate Winter destination. It’s a charming small town with cute little coffee shops and a lot of Winter activities to take part in.

Do everything from snowshoeing to snowboarding and skiing. The area is known as one of BC’s best kept secrets because it’s not on a lot of people’s radars when they think of a local getaway. But its small town vibes and scenery will win you over in a heart beat.
