Whistler Blackcomb Mountain announced its opening day is this week and there’s already snow!
The mountain opens this Thursday, November 28th, and you can get there as early as 8:30 am.
And it’s likely wise to be there sooner, as it closes daily at 3 pm.

On opening day, it’s expected to be sunny with a high of -5 degrees, with a low of -12 degrees in Whistler Village and even colder on the peaks.

Snowfall is at 13 cm so far, with a base depth of 14 cm. More is expected as we get into the season.
Don’t forget to buy your passes ahead of time, as there’s currently a sale on tickets that runs until Monday, December 2nd.
