If the views from Capilano Suspension Bridge weren’t captivating enough, wait ’til you see it with thousands of twinkling Christmas lights. Canyon Lights is coming to the North Vancouver park this weekend.
Through the Winter Lights Festival, the park will transform into “a world of festive lights and visual enchantment.”
That includes the suspension bridge itself, Cliffwalk, the rainforest, as well as the canyon itself.
The 30-ton Douglas firs at Treetops Adventure will be the belle of the ball, as they connect the seven suspension bridges across the forest.
All eight of the 250-year old firs will light up, making them some of the tallest Christmas trees in the world.
Plus, Snowy Owl Prowl will return, due to popular demand. The by-donation activity features sing-along carols with the holiday band.
Aside from Christmas Day, Canyon Lights is open everyday from November 22 to January 26, 2020. Park hours are 11 am-9 pm. Buy tickets in advance online.
So don’t miss this amazing spectacle!
