While the Metro Vancouver weather forecast called for rain this week, things are looking up.
Specifically, the weekend forecast calls for especially sunny, warm weather. On Friday, May 11th, the skies are clear with a high reaching 18°C. Following this, Saturday will experience even warmer reaching a high of 20°C.
On Sunday, the forecast calls for a high of 21°C, and the skies will be clear and sunny. On Monday the temperature will reach a high of 22°C.

Previously, Vancouver saw the highest temperatures of 2018. Some of these temperatures were reached close to 27°C inland, and locals relished the chance to get outside.
