Is it the end of an era for this downtown Vancouver retail mall? The International Village mall (aka Tinseltown) is now up for sale.
Located at 88 W Pender Street, the property is now on the market as a package deal with Vancouver’s Paris Square and Henderson Place Mall in Coquitlam.

The properties are being marketed by CBRE as the Henderson Retail Portfolio.
As of right now, an asking price has not been disclosed.
“These diverse retail centres are all prominently located on transit in high-density neighbourhoods within downtown Vancouver and Coquitlam, B.C.” reads CBRE’s website.
They “offer investors opportunities to dramatically increase value through redevelopment and repositioning strategies”.

International Village Mall Package
International Village Mall is home to over 60 retail stores, 10 LED displays, a convenient underground parking lot, and a food court. Furthermore, the mall is also where one of only two Cineplex theatres in the downtown Vancouver core is located.

International Village Mall sits on 3.38 acres of lot space and the building itself is 195,109 sq. ft. big.
Paris Square, located at 181 Keefer Place, Vancouver, is situated in a “high-density mixed-use hub, surrounded by multi-family residential towers”. It’s home to a T & T Supermarket, walking distance from both BC Place Stadium and Rogers Arena, and close to the Stadium/Chinatown SkyTrain Station.

In total, Paris Square has 80,151 sq. ft. of retail space.

The last property making up this deal is Coquitlam’s Henderson Place Mall. The mall sits on 6.18 acres of land and features 142,841 sq. ft. of retail space.

Located at 1151 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam, this mall is directly across the street from Lincoln Station on the new Evergreen SkyTrain (LRT) Line.
