Vancouver Choreographer Orchestrates Surprise Helicopter Proposal

Planning a surprise helicopter proposal up in the mountains and pretending to leave town to pull it off are just a few things Scott Forsyth pulled off in this un-choreographed  romantic gesture.

Scott, known in Vancouver as a Choreographer and Artistic Director, initiated the proposal by lying to his girlfriend! He told her he was going out of town and even had her drop him off at the airport. Phase 2 included a fake video shoot with the help of a friend who happens to own Sky Helicopters. The rest is magic.

“This day has a special significance because exactly 30 years ago, my Dad proposed to my mom on Christmas Eve 1985. My very first gift to Carmen was a vinyl record player and I asked her to be my girlfriend by giving her a “Girlfriend” vinyl by N’sync. So to ask her to marry me, I gave her a “Let’s Get Married” vinyl by Jagged Edge =)”
