Tap & Barrel Olympic Village
Nothing beats pub grub while on a sprawling patio overlooking False Creek. Tap & Barrel is best known for their burgers, wood-board pizzas and, of course, variety of craft beers available on tap. The patio is award-winning, and also heated, but you probably won’t need that feature.

A bustling seafood joint overlooking Robson Street, Joe Fortes’ rooftop patio is the ultimate venue to take in some people-watching while digging into a nice meal. If you ever stop by, you definitely have to try the oysters (or just get an entire seafood tower). They also have some pasta and steak options!
Location: 777 Thurlow Street
Black + Blue
This classy and modern steakhouse has a sprawling patio and a raw bar with freshly shucked oysters and caviar. Sign us up. But make sure to save room for dessert, cause they’ve got a pretty decadent line-up. Try their s’mores cake, espresso ganache tart, or buttercake.
