They have a massive fishbowl (bigger than your head) that you must try on Margarita Day or any day really. Appropriately called a “Super Margarita,” this drink comes in strawberry, mango and lime. What makes this Peruvian restaurant’s take on the margarita so unique is that they use a spicy jalapeno-infused Pisco instead of Tequila. This difference adds a bit of an extra kick to your drink, so if you like it a bit more spicy, you have to check it out. They also use their own ginger syrup and orange bitters. Sip on this cocktail at 136 East Broadway.

A hip Gastown joint with a taco bar. If that wasn’t enough, they also have one of the best margaritas in the city. You can choose what kind of Tequila you want with it and if you’re looking for something outside the box—order the Bourbarita. Which much like its name suggests, is a hybrid of Bourbon and a margarita with watermelon and lemon juice. And you can also get your margarita in a bucket—for those times a glass just isn’t enough. They’re at 27 Blood Alley Square.

It’s made up of El Jimador Blanco Tequila, Triple Sec, agave syrup and a splash of fresh lime juice. And the rim has an added bonus with salted vanilla bean—yum!
