8 Times Templeton Secondary Played Another School On-Screen

Vancouver’s Templeton Secondary School was founded back in 1927 and has gone on to be well-known for its theatre and film programs. So it’s only natural that a number of Hollywood North productions have used the interior and exterior to replicate other schools.

Here are 8 times Templeton Secondary School played another school on-screen.

Smallville

Popular young adult super-hero fiction series Smallville followed a teenage Clark Kent and his journey to becoming Superman. The first half of the series is set in high school and used Vancouver Technical Secondary as the main exterior of Smallville High. Templeton Secondary was used for the interior of the school and for some additional exterior shots.

Smallville used a number of locations around Metro Vancouver including a studio in Burnaby, farm in Aldergrove and parts of Merritt and Cloverdale as the town. The show ran for 10 seasons originally airing on The WB and then on The CW which was a merger of The WB and UPN.
