Stunt magician and comedian Wes Barker may hail from the quiet suburban community of Clayton Heights in Surrey but he is making a lot of noise on American television programs.
Barker appeared on the hit talent competition show America’s Got Talent last month which he owes to 20 million views on his YouTube channel over the last year. This viral recognition put him on the radar of the show’s producers which resulted in two trips to New York for show tapings.
His “nearly nude escape” second-round act on AGT was judged by Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Howard Stern, Mel B and guest judge / fellow Canadian Michael Bublé.
More of his stunt magic was on the silver screen again this summer as he performed his “sword and phone book” routine on Penn & Teller: Fool Us. Barker manages to fool the legendary Penn & Teller with an entertaining routine:
Wes Barker has also appeared on Syfy’s Wizard Wars, The Comedy Network and tours all over the world.
