One of British Columbia’s most popular athletes has just picked up a $4.8M retirement home. The irony? It’s not in British Columbia.

Steve Nash grew up in Victoria B.C. and is a part owner of the Vancouver Whitecaps and owns his own chain of fitness gyms in the 604. Currently, he’s the Los Angeles Lakers starting point guard but has been sidelined this year due to injuries.
While healing up, we’ve learned Steve Nash just bought a Manhattan Beach pad that cost him nearly $5 million! The home is reportedly 4,175 square feet and two blocks away from the beach. Real estate agents in the area claim Nash plans to tear the entire house down and build his dream home.
