Heads up shoppers! Effective as of May 1st, 2019, Metropolis at Metrotown mall has now introduced new free parking limitations.
Their new parking policy has removed free 4-hour parking for most of their ground-level spots, which are located along Kingsway near Nelson.

Lots number from 1 to 6 will offer only a maximum of two-hours free parking during mall hours of business.
According to Metropolis at Metrotown’s website, in order to obtain the two-hours of free parking in these new lots, mall guests must register their vehicle license plate at a paystation operated by WestPark. Equally important, the six parking lots actually belongs to Concord Pacific, not Metropolis.
There will be signage and pay stations present in these areas to help customers adjust to this new parking policy.

For those who wish to park longer than two hours in these lots, they can do so by purchasing additional time.
The ground-level parking spots near Chapters, Silver City and Superstore and underground levels are unaffected by the new parking policy.
The remaining 6,000+ parking spots for Metropolis at Metrotown shoppers remains available as free customer parking with a four-hour limit, and no registration required.
