The Pacific Inn Resort in Surrey has officially closed and is set to undergo major renovations.
Known by locals as the “Pink Palace”, the property is located at 1160 King George Boulevard, next to Highway 99.
The local resort and conference centre is undergoing a two year, $28 million renovation from the inside and out.

Once reopened, the renovated space will be home to the first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Metro Vancouver.
The Pacific Inn Resort has 150 hotel rooms and 18,000 sq. ft. of meeting space inside. Their banquet hall has space for up to 800 guests that includes catering, DJs and more.
The new DoubleTree by Hilton hotel is expected to open in 2020.
