Popular Japanese discount store Oomomo is opening up for business in Burnaby’s Metropolis at Metrotown this weekend.

Oomomo is a Japanese lifestyle store that carries things from kitchenware and school supplies to beauty products and snacks.

The Metrotown location will be Oomomo’s fourth Metro Vancouver location, following one in Vancouver’s International Village, Lougheed Mall, and Richmond’s Aberdeen Centre.

Doors open at 10:00 am this Sunday, December 15th, and there are plenty of giveaways to celebrate the store’s grand opening.

To begin, the first 200 customers in line will automatically receive a $10 cash voucher.

Customers will have also have an opportunity to enter a draw to win up to $100.

Furthermore, customers can share photos of their shopping haul on Facebook and Instagram, with #OomomoHaul, for a chance to win a $50 gift card. That contest will run all the way until December 31st.

If you’re looking for other great places to do some holiday shopping, check out British Columbia’s 1st Sporting Life store, also in Burnaby. In addition, there’s also the Christmas heaven that is the Potters Christmas Store.
