The forecast called for snow, but the weather gods are delivering more powder than anyone expected on Tuesday.
Environment Canada has adjusted their snowfall warning from 2-4cm of snow to 10-20cm expected by this evening.
The temperature will remain steady near zero.
The snowfall is expected to end by nightfall and be followed with sunshine on Wednesday morning. The snow will return on Thursday only to be followed by a streak of sunshine on the weekend – welcome to Vancouver.

The rapid collection of snow is expected to make travel difficult in some locations.
It is advised to take frequent breaks and avoid strain when clearing snow.
