On Thursday afternoon, North Vancouver RCMP put out a statement about a man who exposed his genitals on a local trail on the North Shore.
The man exposed his genitals while running with his dog in the late afternoon on July 13th, 2019. Two women were walking on the Upper Shinglebolt Trail, west of Capilano Road in North Vancouver when they noticed the man pull up his shorts and “expose his genitals as he ran by them”.

The male is described as Indigenous, approximately 30 years-old, 6’0″, lean build, dark short hair and goatee beard. He was wearing red shorts, tan coloured sleeveless shirt and running shoes.
Likewise, the suspect’s dog was off leash and was described as a medium size German Shepherd mixed breed.
“This is a popular dog walking trail area off the west side of Capilano Road”, said Sgt. Peri Mainwaring.
“This indecent act is concerning to police as it occurred in a public place during the daytime. It is believed to be an isolated incident but police are urging trail users to report any encounters of this nature to police”.
