Langley Lottery Winner
Langley resident Dale N. is the lucky winner of the $1-million Lotto 6/49 Guaranteed Prize from the September 30, 2026 draw. His win comes after playing the same series of numbers for many years, with the numbers being comprised of a sequence of family birthdays.
Dale found out about his win by checking his ticket with the Lotto! App, and immediately thought that he’d be able to help his kids.
“It feels awesome, not because of the money, but because I can help my kids with future expenses.”
Dale doesn’t have any major plans to spend the money, although he did mention that he wants to travel to England to visit museums and explore the country’s rich history. Likewise, he doesn’t plan to celebrate right now, but he looks forward to spending time doing his favourite things. This includes fishing for salmon, cooking, and hanging out with his dogs.
The winning ticket was purchased at Douglas Park Market in Langley.
Other Winners
So far, 2026 has been a big year for B.C. lottery winners.
There was even a massive $32-million win recently, won by Surrey resident Amritpal S., who decided to head to White Rock to clear his head after a busy day. There, he found out that there was a lottery win in Surrey and decided to scan his ticket. It was then that he found out he had just won the $32-million Gold Ball Jackpot from the September 19, 2026 Lotto 6/49 draw.
Another lucky Metro Vancouver resident also won $500,00 from the September 14, 2026 Daily Grand draw. Jian Z. of Richmond discovered his win after scanning his ticket using the BCLC Lotto! App. “I was at home and when I scanned the ticket [using the BCLC Lotto! Mobile App], the first thing I thought was ‘oh wow!’” said Jian.
If you’re feeling lucky, remember to know your limit, play within it before you buy a ticket.
