Schooner Cove Trail

There are a number of beautiful places to hike in BC. In fact, the number one rated hike in the world is located on Vancouver Island.

With that in mind, some hikes don’t take much time to complete. In addition, they offer an incredible reward at the end.

The Schooner Cove Trail on Vancouver Island is one such hike. Not only does it wind through a beautiful, lush rainforest, but it ends on one of the most beautiful beaches in BC.

What’s more, this lovely hike is only 2km long, and therefore doesn’t take a great deal of time to complete.

Located in the Pacific Rim National Park, the trail passes over gentling flowing streams, and is a relatively easy undertaking.

Not only is the rainforest on Vancouver brimming with some soaring, lush vegetation, but the sounds of beautiful birds fill the air.

And, the grand finale of the hike is the beautiful Long Beach. With rocky outcrops, crashing waves topped with whitecaps, and white sand all around, it is truly a magical place.
