Health Canada has issued a major recall notice for a brand of hair products that were sold across the country between November 2023 and June 2026. According to the notice, 90,089 units of the affected products were distributed in Canada.

Recall in Canada: Hair Products
The affected product is ​​Schwarzkopf Professional Osis Grip Mousse.
The notice explains, “the recalled product has packaging issues, which can cause the product to leak from the package when under pressure. The leakage and resulting pressure may cause the package to burst, which could result in injury or property damage.”
There has been 1 report of incident and no reports of injury in Canada as of September 18, 2026.

What to Do
Consumers are asked to “immediately stop using the recalled product.” They can return it to its place of purchase for a refund.
