Metro Vancouver’s Shore will once again be alight with a dazzling parade full of festive light displays.
So grab the family, prepare some snacks and venture down to the waterfront to see a procession that is as merry as it is bright.

Santa’s Christmas Ships: Christmas Boat Parade 2025
The popular Santa’s Christmas Ships: Christmas Boat Parade returns to continue it’s long tradition of warming hearts at Port Moody, Ioco, Belcarra, Dollarton, Deep Cove, Bedwell Bay, Woodlands, and Brighton Beach.
Nearly two dozen boats will strut their stuff on select days from November 29 – December 20, decked out with wreaths, LEDS, inflatable decorations, Santa Clauses, and snowmen.
Here is their 2025 Schedule
Viewers can expect the ships to sail out around 7:00pm to 9:00pm, unless otherwise stated.
- November 29: Rocky Point Park Port Moody. 5:00pm – 7:00pm. This is the only destination this year that Santa will be coming along for a special visit as part of Holiday Cheer at the Pier.
- December 5: Cates Park, Dollarton, Belcarra Bay.
- December 6: Deep Cove Christmas Ships Party, Band and Bonfire open to the public.
- December 12: Woodlands, Brighton Beach, water access only.
- December 13: Belcarra, Dollarton North Vancouver, water access only.
- December 19: Open TBD.
- December 20: Bedwell Bay, Farrer Cove, water access only.
Note that this is their tentative schedule. The parade is subject to weather conditions.
Waterfront residents are encouraged to light up their docks, as it helps the skippers safely bring their boats closer for better viewing. Flashing house lights and making plenty of noise are welcome, as the skippers can see and hear the excitement. In return, they’ll respond with festive horn blasts from their ships!
