Disney Jobs In Vancouver
Vancouver has a huge, flourishing arts scene– especially in animation. Tons of blockbuster films have been animated here, and Disney has their own Vancouver-based studio that handles certain aspects of their movies.
Much of these positions have to do with tech, including software engineering and animation. And luckily, they’ve all been posted fairly recently, with the oldest listing being up since October 7, 2025.
Animation Positions
If you’re looking to get into the animation side of things, then Disney is offering internships and apprenticeships for certain specialties. This includes a Lighting Apprenticeship and an Effects Apprenticeship, as well as a Look Development Apprenticeship.
The qualifications for these jobs require emerging artists to have at least 5 years of animation industry experience, or be a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Moreover, applicants must also upload a single reel no longer than 2 minutes.
These positions are paid, at $25 to $30 per hour, with select benefits.
Engineering Positions
For those top salaries, you’ll want to look at the Software Engineer positions. These jobs are highly paid, although they also ask for some high qualifications.
As for the Sr IS Software Engineer, this hybrid role requests that applicants hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical degree, 8+ years in professional software development, and 3+ years developing and maintaining WordPress applications. They must also possess a range of coding skills and competencies.
This position pays from $113,200 to $151,800 per year, making it one of the highest-paid positions on the Vancouver Disney job board right now.
