Illuminate The Dark With Deep Cove Kayak’s Magical ‘Friday Night Lights’ Tour

Imagine gliding through the still waters of Indian Arm in a kayak lit up with LED lights.

Deep Cove Kayak is kicking off the Summer season with their magical Friday Night Lights tour.

Kayaking at night is a completely different experience than paddling during the daylight hours. The waters are more calm, there’s less noise, and it’s much more peaceful.

Group tours will be taking off every Friday night from June to September.

The 2.5-hour tour begins by paddling out into the Indian Arm at dusk in an illuminated kayak.

The tour guide will also share the history of the area, as well as the presence of First Nations in BC.

As you’re venturing out in the water, you may be lucky enough to experience the wondrous bio-luminescence glowing all around you.

Deep Cove Kayaks has many other tours to discover, including the Island Explorer and Full Moon evening tour.

They also offer private tours, lessons and rentals if you want to explore the waters on your own. If kayaking is not your style, rent a stand-up paddle board or try out surf skiing.
