The PNE has unveiled the TELUS Future Home, on display now until September 5th. By viewing the Future Home, you can get a unique sneak peak into what a home of the future could look like as a result of faster Internet speeds.
The home is 560-square-feet and powered by TELUS PureFibre which is designed to demonstrate innovative concept technology.
Features of the Future Home:
- Facial recognition software to enter the home. A biometric security system will power this feature so that you’ll never have to search for your keys again!
- Smart fridge to help plan your meal while a smart cooktop will guide you through step-by-step instructions on cooking and can calculate the nutritional value of your meal.
- Home office with an interactive touch table allowing you to virtually connect to your doctor’s office or video conference with your colleagues.
- Home monitoring sensors and cameras to remotely check on your children, pets and even your plants with a smartphone.
- Home entertainment featuring a 4K Ultra HD Optik TV brought to life on a 78” Samsung Curved UHD TV
- Home gym that brings the trainer, virtually to you. Whether you’re scheduling a run or jumping on the bike indoors, the home gym has become an engaging, immersive and connected experience.
- Health monitor which allows guests to conduct full body medical assessments, review key vitals, and share key information with their medical professionals from the comfort of home.
