Among others, Carl’s Jr. is a noticeable addition to the airport. The American based fast-food restaurant chain is a popular burger spot and ranks among the top ten fast-food chains in the United States, competing with the likes of McDonald’s and Burger King.
The new Carl’s Jr. location at YVR will mark the chains third restaurant in the 604.
Other concession offerings included in the A-B Connector feature ICE Currency Exchange, and Green Bean Café. Vino Volo and Famous Famiglia will also open later in 2015.
The new $213 million expansion is the first major infrastructure project completed as part of YVR’s 10-year gateway strategy announced in 2012 to keep YVR competitive and an economic generator for B.C. The upgrades and expansion were made to the original areas of YVR’s 1968 terminal.
