Walking through this little town you’ll see why despite its small size, it has so much to offer. Nestled in the Elk Valley region of the East Kootenays—it’s a little slice of heaven near the Canadian Rockies.
The mountain town is at its peak in the Winter months with skiers and snowboarders, but Summer months are also a great time to visit. Walk around the town, go cliff-jumping at Silver Springs Lake, find some goods at the Fernie Mountain Market, go mountain biking or just enjoy the beauty of the Elk River.

This small community is on Vancouver Island, just west of Parksville. Its “claim to fame” so to speak is its Old Country Market, which brings in a lot of tourists. Not only is it a farmer’s market with everything under the sun, but it also has goats on the roof.
Most people just pass through but it’s a cute spot to stay awhile. Its relaxed and low-key vibes are a nice retreat away from the city life. It’s also home to a butterfly garden, hobby farm and the largest network of caves isn’t too far away.

Nelson is home to over 350 heritage buildings, a thriving arts community and serene landscapes. Go rafting down the Salmo River, hike up the Kokanee Glacier or just soak up the sun at Kootenay Lake.

A small town on the east coast of Vancouver Island, near Duncan. The historic waterfront community has something for everyone. It has the perfect blend of eateries, shops, piers and floating homes.
The most popular Summer activities to take part in here are boating, kayaking, diving and whale watching. The town also has some amazing restaurants serving lots of fresh seafood and local wines to wash it down with.
