ScanBC is BC’s online radio scanning community. The community collects and shares information from police scanners and posts headlines to Twitter and Facebook.
The month of July means summer is in full swing and is kicked off by Canada Day celebrations. That also means beaches and water sports plus patios and booze. Annual events like Pride week festivities, Khatsahlano street party and Celebration of Lights fireworks bring out the crowds. There were big music festivals like FVDED In The Park and Pemberton Music Festival. Rogers Arena also hosted big concerts like The Dixie Chicks, Adele and The Tragically Hip. Sometimes the summer-heat can get to people which means law enforcement and first responders had their hands full:
