What they had to say about it: Though overshadowed by their other offerings, the matcha mecca’s souffle pancakes were surprisingly light and fluffy. We didn’t feel bad after devouring it so bonus points for that. Needless to say, we definitely recommend including them in your order.
Where to get it: 1535-4777 Mcclelland Road in Richmond
Bobii Frutii

What they had to say about it: Bobii Frutii is known for their unique drinks with high-quality ingredients, but did you know that they serve delicious souffle pancakes as well?! Their pancakes are made fresh with each order and they are super fluffy and voluminous. My favourite flavour will have to be the “Milk Tea Souffle Pancakes” that is served with pearls and topped off with a scoop of black tea cream!
Where to get it: 157-4800 No 3 Rd in Richmond
Update [Aug. 12, 2019]: Bobii Fruitii is now permanently closed.
Hiel Cafe

What they had to say about it: Hiel Cafe is a hidden gem that serves coffee, sandwiches and most importantly, their famous souffle pancakes. Super airy and fluffy, these pancakes were like cottony clouds but even better with their homemade whipped cream and fresh berries.
Where to get it: 7885 6th St in Burnaby
Milk Cow
Recommended by: @vanfoodventure
What they had to say about it: This South Korean dessert café chain is known for their organic milk soft ice cream and extraordinary toppings. It was also one of the first places to introduce and offer soufflé pancakes in Vancouver. They carry 3 flavours: original, tiramisu and ube. Having ube as a flavour is unique. The pancakes are soft and not too dense, quite comparable to the one I had from Japan. It’s even served with a small cup of their signature soft ice cream.
Where to get it: 105-5668 Hollybridge Way in Richmond
