Best Donuts In Vancouver

Cartems Donuts

An obvious choice, being one of the best donut purveyors in the city. It’s not hard to find the donuterie in town because they have lots of locations. Their expansive menu has something for everyone, making it the perfect one stop donut shop. Choose between yeast donuts, cake donuts or one of their many vegan and gluten-free options.

Popular flavours include: smoked maple walnut, earl grey, honey parmesan (yes, you read that right!), london fog, citrus glaze, vanilla bean and a classic apple fritter. They have locations downtown, in Mount Pleasant and in Kits.

Lee’s Donuts

The perfect day spent at Granville Island involves a stop at this vendor, which is conveniently located in the bustling public market. It’s been a staple there for decades and they show no signs of slowing down. Their donuts are classic and keep people coming back for more.

Their “claim to fame” so to speak is their signature honey dip, which has been a go-to for years. Give them a try at 1689 Johnston Street.

Lucky’s Doughnuts

They have an ever-changing menu that evolves with each season—so it’s definitely the place to go if you’re looking to try something new. Their donuts are as delicious as they look. Sink your teeth into their apple bacon fritter (the flavour you never knew you needed).

Or, they have an amazing lemon meringue bismarck, a classic PB & J, creme brulee, chocolate pistachio and a classic sprinkled donut for those young at heart. They have multiple locations, in Mount Pleasant, Kits and downtown.

Honey Doughnuts

This donut shop has its fair share of fans (including Kate Winslet). Nestled in the quaint Deep Cove, you can’t pass by this little shop that serves up big flavour. Much like their name suggests, they’re best known for their honey donut, which is to die for.

It’s the perfect place to fuel up before a hike in the area or to reward yourself with something sweet after a kayak session. Stop by 4373 Gallant Avenue to get your fix (you won’t regret it).

Duffin’s Donuts

Craving donuts and fried chicken? Well, this spot has both. They also make amazing submarine sandwiches. But back to donuts, they have over 50 different varieties! One of their most popular flavours is their rainbow French cruller (which also happens to be the most Instagram-worthy choice too).

Other donut flavours include: blueberry, banana, buttermilk, lemon and raspberry. Check them out at 1391 East 41st Avenue.

Harmony Donut Shop

One of the best spots to get donuts on the North Shore. These donuts are bursting with flavour. Try their orange and chocolate old fashioned, classic sprinkle, cinnamon sugar, chocolate glazed and much more.

It’s also a super unique little shop with lots of vintage vibes. Check it out at 2945 Lonsdale Avenue.

Breka Bakery & Cafe

Is there anything Breka can’t do? Because besides delicious cafe food and coffee—they also make some mean donuts. We’re talking long johns, a dulce de leche, chocolate custard, strawberry white chocolate, apricot and chocolate hazelnut (just to name a few).

Breka has lots of locations in Vancouver, around downtown, Kits and Fraser Street.

Okay not quite Vancouver but how could we possibly leave them out?! Take a donut road trip to Delta to get yourself a dozen or so of their legendary donuts. Warning: they will put you in a sugar coma, but it’s totally worth it.

They get a variety of different flavours depending on the season, so the options are seemingly endless. Try the cake batter, caramel kreme crunch or maple iced glazed flavours. You won’t be disappointed. Find them at 7153 120 Street.
