Fraser Park

Started in 1997 by Anton and Sylvia Heggen, Fraser Park started out with one goal – sharing their love of homemade food.

Their joint not only does brunch, but it does all-day breakfast (you can finally win the ultimate argument, breakfast for dinner IS the right way to go).

Try your hand at their German breakfast! It consists of three eggs with sautéed peppers, onions and cheese. It also comes with handmade hash browns, sausage, bacon, ham, potato pancake, and your choice of toast. If you’re looking to go deluxe, you can add schnitzel and gravy as well!

Located at #103-4663 Byrne Road, they’re open Monday to Friday 6:30AM to 2PM, Saturday 7AM to 2PM, and closed Sundays.

The Gray Olive Cafeteria

Don’t be deterred by the name.

The Gray Olive’s slogan is ‘comfort food with a little magic’, and it’s easy to see why. Created by three brothers who share a love of food, they serve seasonal comfort food with a twist.

Their menu includes chicken & waffle, biscuits and gravy, and a steelhead salmon benny – perfect place to go for Burnaby brunch. Need we say more?

A note: some of their menu items are only available on weekends.

Located at 4190 Hastings Street, they’re open Monday to Friday 9AM to 3PM, and weekends 8AM to 3PM.

A quaint little French bistro that whisks you away to a Parisian world, Chez Meme Baguette Bistro focuses on doling out French flavours that deliver.

Our tip: try their lamb shank and caramelized onion sandwich. The crispy baguette paired with the tender lamb shank makes for a drool worthy experience.

Located at 4016 Hastings Street, they’re open Monday to Friday 8AM to 3PM, and Saturday 9AM to 3PM.

Cozmos Cafe + Bistro

A family run restaurant, Cozmos Cafe + Bistro has 17 years of experience when it comes to serving hearty meals.

With seven different types of omelettes and five different types of eggs benedict (including a Greek one – yum!), you’re never going to run out of options.

Their cozy atmosphere paired with giant portions of delicious food makes it a home away from home. After all, home is where is the heart is, right?

Located 6691 Hastings Street, they’re open Monday 8AM to 5PM Mondays, 8AM to 9PM Tuesdays, 8AM to 10PM Wednesday through Friday, 9AM to 9PM Saturday, and 9AM to 8PM Sundays.
