The BC SPCA is asking for donations to help 10-year-old Kelty. In what is relatively rare in a dog his size, Kelty has a torn knee ligament (ACL) that requires expensive and delicate surgery.
Unfortunately, if Kelty doesn’t get the surgery he needs, he will live the remainder of his life in constant agony.

Along with this debilitating injury, Kelty arrived with an ear infection and teeth in terrible condition, requiring oral surgery.
The BC SPCA is looking to raise $4,480 and as of Thursday morning, had hit 17% ($840) of their goal.
With the money raised, it’ll go towards surgery, medication, vaccinations, regular health check, and daily care for Kelty until he’s ready for adoption.
If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
