On July.16, 2011, Playland added in its newest ride in 4years.
The $2 million “Star Flyer” is the second of its kind in the country, as well as the second highest ride in the country behind a Star Flyer being built for Canada’s Wonderland in Ontario.
This new thrill ride is placed near the pirate ship, and stands 5 meters taller than the hellavator at 218 feet! The ride reaches 70km/hr, and riders will be whirled 360 degrees in the air for two minutes.
There will be no additional charge for the ride this summer and you can ride it for free with your admission or as a part of your ride passport when the PNE takes place.
