Whether you’re fascinated by sharks or are totally afraid of them, Vancouver Aquarium has a new exhibit which may solve all your problems.
From February 7 to April 30, The Secret World of Sharks and Rays will be featured at the Vancouver Aquarium. This exhibit allows aquarium visitors to get an up close look at what many of us consider a very misunderstood and feared creature.
This exhibit will feature several exotic sharks, such as but not limited to the zebra shark, leopard whip ray, tasseled woebegong, and not to mention the sharks cousin, the wily stingray!
If you’re a little nervous, don’t sweat it! Aquarium experts assure us that the typical shark is nothing like those vicious, man-eating ones they show on tv and in the movies. There are over 370 shark species, so they’re bound to all be a little unique!
Throughout The Secret World of Sharks, there will be two dates to mark down on your calendar that require an RSVP. One is “The Sharks of British Columbia” from 6 to 8 pm on February 12. The second is “Sharks of Canada” from 6 to 8 pm on March 5. If those two events interest you don’t forget to RSVP as soon as possible!
