Surrey donut lovers have something to look forward to this Halloween. Vancouver-born Lee’s Donuts is opening a new permanent location at Guildford Town Centre on Saturday, October 31, bringing its famous Honey Dip donuts and other classic favourites to the shopping centre.

However, the celebrations won’t stop there. The company is planning an official grand opening on Sunday, November 8, complete with 300 free donuts, giveaways and a special appearance by its Johnny Glaze mascot.

The new location also introduces something different for the popular B.C. brand: its first espresso beverage program.

From a Surrey Pop-Up to a Permanent Storefront

For Guildford shoppers, Lee’s Donuts might already look familiar. The company previously brought its popular donut trailer to Guildford Town Centre in November 2024, giving Surrey residents a chance to enjoy its treats without travelling to Vancouver. Now, the brand is making a more permanent commitment to the community with a dedicated storefront inside the shopping centre.

The new shop will be operated by husband-and-wife franchise partners Monique and Rus Carlos, who also run the Lee’s Donuts location at Willowbrook Shopping Centre in Langley. The couple have built strong connections in Langley through community events and local activities. Their expansion into Surrey marks another chapter in their journey with the Vancouver-born company. “Guildford represents an exciting next chapter for Lee’s Donuts as we continue to grow throughout British Columbia,” said Celine Bacani, CEO of Lee’s Donuts. Bacani added that working with local operators like Monique and Rus allows the company to bring its products into more neighbourhoods while maintaining its community roots.

Lee’s Donuts Is Introducing Its First Espresso Program

Along with a permanent home in Surrey, Lee’s Donuts is introducing a new addition to its menu. The Guildford location will debut the company’s first espresso beverage program, offering freshly prepared coffee drinks alongside its signature donuts.

That means customers can pick up an espresso-based drink with their Honey Dip or grab a coffee while taking a break from shopping. The new program represents another step in the company’s evolution as it expands beyond its original Granville Island location.

While the brand has offered coffee at other locations, Guildford marks the introduction of this dedicated espresso program.

Classic Donuts and Seasonal Fall Flavours

The new Surrey shop will carry the full selection of Lee’s Donuts favourites, including its iconic Honey Dip, classic Jelly Donut and other handmade creations.

Customers can also enjoy the brand’s seasonal fall menu, which will remain available until November 20.
